Accommodation Notes
Accommodation rates include meals (continental breakfast, lunch and 3 course dinner), airport transfers in Tufi as well as unlimited snorkeling/canoes/kayaks on our house reef.
All prices are in USD.

*Children under 5 free of charge for accommodation (when staying in parents’ room) and meals. The ‘Child’ rate is for children aged 6 – 11 years.

Village Guesthouse accommodation is not located within Tufi Resort. It is staying at guesthouses (village huts) in nearby villages. This is arranged through Tufi Resort and transfers to and from the resort to the village are charged at an additional USD$90 per boat, per direction for a regular transfer or USD$30 for a short transfer.
Diving Notes
If outer reef boat diving is prohibitive due to weather/boat or any unexpected reason, diving will be transferable to other activities but is not refundable.
JULY / AUGUST / SEPTEMBER are our windy months therefore if conditions prevail that the resort determines the conditions unsafe then diving will be conducted in the safety of the fjords. The fjords offer spectacular muck diving and great shelter from the wind.
Please note there is a PNG Dive Chamber FEE. This is a compulsory fee of K20 per diver / per day. This is NOT an insurance but rather an industry support fee and is charged at the resort, at the end of each dive day, and payable upon check out

Tufi Resort | Booking Policy
Payments: Once you approve the final Tufi Resort Quote, we will simply lock in your booking prior to running your credit card. Alternately you can also telegraphically transfer (TT ) to our account if that is the preferred method of payment. Please note: Your credit card will be charged in local PNG currency (PGK ) with a currency exchange rate determined on the day that your credit card is charged. Additional Credit Card Fees apply as follows: 3.5% for Visa Card or Master Car
Cancelations: Cancel 45 Days prior to arrival – Original Invoice Fully Refunded, Cancel between 45 to 30 Days prior to arrival – 50% Refund, If you cancel less than 30 Days prior to your arrival – No Refund. No refunds will be offered after arrival at the resort.
Travel Insurance: Tufi Resort recommends that every guest purchase comprehensive cover for flight interruption, cancellation, accident, medical and baggage insurance prior to their departure. Evacuation insurance is compulsory. Tufi Resort is not responsible for airline cancellations
Divers: Tufi Resort recommends that you purchase DAN INSURANCE or DAN TRAVEL ASSIST in your own country before arriving in Papua New Guinea or Tufi. Tufi Resort can sell you short term DAN insurance . DAN is the leading expert in diving related evacuations and sponsors an in-country hyperbaric chamber in Port Moresby. DAN Insurance provides immediate evacuation and mobilization and treatment for dive related accidents, (e.g. decompression sickness). Let our reservations team know you require a quote and they can assist.
Weather Conditions: It should be noted that weather conditions in parts of PNG could be variable from July to September and open water boat reef diving could be restricted to the Fjords for safety reasons. The management reserves all rights in this regard.
